OK, but how true ? Otherwise titled When in Rome.

 A thing maybe true, but to what extent ?  Dion Fortune said that some treasures are only treasure when viewed in the moonlight, but if examined in the cold light of day are nothing more than dried leaves. Why does this haunt me tonight ?  Reality is fluid, but the human side needs stability. Why am I writing this crap tonight ?

    I haven't slept well since the day before the full moon. Bad dreams too that seem to go on and on.

      I find the still moon lit nights make me feel morose, though I also feel mentally hyper to. I enjoy the windy ones. I havent had that hyper feeling in a long time. I used to write poems on those nights. Im to tired for that now.

      There were rules and observation from the past that I learnt to take note of during these moon phases. Im slowly recalling them now.

So this song was playing today in a cafe. So many memories. Strange, and I should have known I would be frequenting said property before the day was out, even if it was only through trick n treating.  The lyrics capture a woman's ability to do a sudden deviation from what a man believes is so. The singer knows despite his current reverie he's doomed. Its just a brief season.  That cycle moon is so me.

Little Miss Ambiguity

  The dreams have started again, as they did this time last year. Last year she was a young short woman with dark hair who would stand very close to me. I could tell she had a great affection for me. I joked she was going to get frisky on last years blog. Last night she returned or rather a counter part of her did, but this time she had blond hair, tied back.  I found myself arguing with her in a garden she accused me of damaging. The flowers were quite robust and of the sun flower type or style. Suddenly in the midst of the argument she leans forward and kisses me on the lips instantly, and then carries on the argument with the same intensity as before. I then attempt to kiss her and she resists, all the while still scolding me until after a few attempts she yields. Heres hoping to seeing her again some night...

Ulalume  And now, as the night was senescent And star-dials pointed to morn— As the star-dials hinted of morn— At the end of our path a liquescent And nebulous lustre was born, Out of which a miraculous crescent Arose with a duplicate horn— Astarte's bediamonded crescent Distinct with its duplicate horn. After viewing strange lights I once saw a huge shadow cresent appear for an instant in the sky.
